Superhippo sought help creating a new CCG market category with Throne of Legends, which we led, designed and developed from concept to live ops.
The project faced stakeholder skepticism, scope creep and underdeveloped content pipelines.
HOW WE HELPED
We reworked the core design and built economy simulations to confirm the new direction. This dramatically lowered art workload while keeping the concept competitive. We also provided focused system & economy design coaching to prepare the design department for running a complex live game.
WHAT HAPPENED NEXT
The new design secured enthusiastic stakeholder buy-in and approval for needed resources in all critical areas. TOL launched on schedule at no. 1 Top Grossing on the Nutaku platform and has been a habitual Top 10 grossing game on the platform since launch.
